Abid Majid Foundation successfully organised a free eye camp in Daultala, providing essential eye care to over 200 patients who otherwise would not have access to ophthalmological services. The camp was staffed by volunteer doctors and healthcare professionals who generously donated their time and expertise.
Many of the patients who attended the camp had been suffering from deteriorating vision for years but could not afford to see a specialist. Some had cataracts, others needed prescription glasses, and a few required referrals for more advanced treatment.
Our volunteer ophthalmologists conducted thorough eye examinations for each patient, prescribed treatments, and distributed free glasses to those who needed them. For patients requiring surgery, Abid Majid Foundation arranged referrals to partner hospitals where they could receive treatment at no cost.
One elderly woman, who had been nearly blind for two years, wept with joy when she could see clearly again after receiving her new glasses. "I can see my grandchildren's faces again," she said. "May Allah bless everyone who made this possible."
Medical camps like these are a vital part of Abid Majid Foundation's healthcare outreach. Many communities in rural Pakistan have no access to specialist medical care, and these camps bring essential services directly to the people who need them most.
We plan to organise more medical camps across Pakistan, including dental clinics, general health check-ups, and specialist consultations. Your donations make these life-changing events possible.
